Will Proctor: biography and relationship with Ainsley Earhardt
Will Proctor is an alumnus of Clemson University where he played college football for several seasons. He is a former starting quarterback for the Clemson Tigers and then the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League (CFL). After a college football career, he took a major break from the field to try his hand at something else. Will is currently Vice President and Wealth Advisor for Neuberger Berman Wealth Management.
Biography of Proctor
He was born to Rick and Karen Proctor on Nov. 3, 1983, in Winter Park, Florida as William Franklin Proctor II. He attended Winter Park Trinity Preparatory School, where he graduated in 2002. He had an athletic streak and participated in many sports while growing up. Will Proctor started playing football while in high school. He played basketball and set the school record for the high jump. He was named co-MVP of the basketball team for one season.
But football was his thing and he excelled at it during his high school days. He did it as a PrepStar All-American and All-State. Florida and Florida County are not left out in the list. That was not all, he was also the team’s most valuable player in his early days as well as his seniors. What a record.
Outside of all those recognitions, during his high school career, he amassed 4,082 yards and 44 touchdowns, with just 13 interceptions, as well as 2,853 yards and 41 touchdowns.

Will’s football career didn’t end with his high school graduation. He rose to prominence for his days in the Clemson Tigers as the Conference starting quarterback on the Atlantic Coast in NCAADivision IA.
He played three seasons of college football from 2004 to 2006 and according to Sports Reference he did not play in his freshman year. The former quarterback played 20 games. The 2006 season was its highest performance with 13 games.
During the 2003 season, he saw the field in four plays at wide receiver as a third-string quarterback. He recorded 232 total offensive yards in his first start against the Duke Blue Devils in the 2005 season. -2007.
The Winter Park Florida native went north of the border after graduation and played for CFL. During the 2007 season, he played as a backup quarterback for the Montreal Alouettes and was released the following pre-season, after which he was signed by the Calgary Stampeders in October 2008.
After his short stint in the CFL, the 6’3″ player retired from football in 2009.
He received known actor credits for ESPN College Football Thursday Primetime (1997), Gay Propaganda (2002), and 2006 Gaylord Music City Bowl Hotels (2006).
A graduate in management and finance, he served in marketing and client services for Glaxis Capital Management in Sarasota, Florida. A position that was created for him at Neuberger Berman Wealth Management, where he has worked since 2012.

On October 13, 2012, they tied the knot in Will’s hometown at All Saints Episcopal Church in Winter Park, Florida.
The two became proud parents of their daughter, Hayden Dubose Proctor, in November 2015. Ainsley was pregnant with their child when she wrote her book and would later dedicate it to her granddaughter. The book which features illustrations by Jamie Kim is titled Take Heart, My Child: A Mother’s Dream.
Loving parents have a wonderful schedule for taking care of their daughter. While Ainsley works in the mornings, Will takes care of the baby during those hours she will be gone to work. However, she takes over in the afternoon when Will goes to work. What devoted parents they are.
