Pregame celebrations
Acrisure Stadium has several spots for pregame celebrations.
The free Stage AE party starts four hours before kickoff. It is hosted by a local radio personality and offers food and drink specials, live music, radio broadcasts, cornhole, ladder ball, a quarterback challenge, giant screens showing the game, the chance to win prizes and autographed items, a towel unfurl, and photo opportunities in front of a banner.
Art Rooney Avenue offers an interactive football experience for fans of all ages three hours before kickoff. In the photo op area, you can take pictures with the team jersey display, player cutouts, and larger-than-life gloves. Entertainment includes face painting, meeting the mascot, hands-on football experiences, and spinning a wheel to win a prize.
The free celebration on the gate A lawn starts three hours before kickoff and includes cornhole, ladder ball, a DJ, and photo opportunities with the giant inflatable football player and welcome archway.
Enter the great hall through the east side of the stadium to watch the live pregame show 30 minutes before kickoff, participate in a team legends question-and-answer, explore the pro shop, buy concessions, and take photos with the team’s six championship trophies, historic locker, and retired jerseys.
Finally, visit the south plaza inside the stadium, just beneath the scoreboard, to buy concessions and take photos with the city of Pittsburgh as your backdrop, the new neon signs, hedge walls, and themed backdrops.
The Hall of Honor Museum
The museum offers 10,000 square feet of team history, where you can learn more about big moments, people, and artifacts. Here’s what to watch for:
- Videos and music play in decade-by-decade interactive exhibits, with a broadcast booth that will let you put your stamp on a historic team play call.
- Historic archives display 90 years of artifacts, including six championship rings and game-worn uniforms from great plays.
- Bronzed footballs and touchscreen kiosks have bios, photos, and videos for hall of honor members.
- A rotating exhibit highlights the three players who have had their jerseys retired and includes signed footballs, game-worn jerseys, personal accounts, and career statistics.
- Mannequins display uniforms from key moments in history.
- An interactive feature is personalized for fans.
The museum opens a few hours before kickoff on game days, so check the website for information and to buy tickets. It is also open several days a week.
