'True And Loyal Friend:' Lifelong Morris County Resident Evan Hodulich Dies, 33
Born in Morristown, Evan was raised in Mendham before graduating from West Morris Mendham High School in 2008, his obituary says.
Evan was known for his love of constructing and rebuilding both outdoor and indoor areas with his family and friends. His passion for nature was also manifested through his fascination with large earth moving machines, as well as his soft spot for dogs and horses.
Evan was a kind and caring soul with several distinct traits: “Those who met Evan won't forget his red hair, dimpled smile and sense of humor,” reads his memorial. “He will be remembered as a true and loyal friend…anyone who knew Evan will miss this gorgeous, oh so funny, shining light.”
Evan is survived by his loving mother, Leslie Cooper, his father, Robert Hodulich, Sr., his siblings, Lauren Pauli and Robert Hodulich, Jr., his niece and nephew, Kayla and Gavin, as well as many extended family members and close friends.
Evan’s celebration of life was scheduled for Saturday, May 13 at Willow Grove in Long Valley.
