Landfill fire in Jackson Township, according to dispatch

JACKSON TOWNSHIP, Pa (WJAC). — Cambria County dispatch says there is a large, outdoor fire at Laurel Highlands Landfill in Jackson Township.
Dispatch says West Taylor Volunteer Fire Company, Jackson Township Volunteer Fire Company and Nanty Glo Fire Company were all called to the scene Monday morning.
Officials say several garbage trucks were turned away by staff because of the fire.
Waste Management released the following statement:
Waste Management staff alerted the Jackson Township Fire Company this morning of a fire taking place on the working face of Laurel Highlands Landfill. Local first responders are on the scene working to extinguish the fire. The cause is currently under investigation.
