Boyz II Men, NKOTB Manager Dick Scott Dies
LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Record executive Dick Scott, best known as the manager of New Kids on the Block and Boyz II Men, passed away August 29th in Los Angeles at the age of 73.
Scott was a former Motown Records exec who also handled the careers of “Marky Mark” Wahlberg, Patti Austin, James Ingram, Teddy Riley and others.
Scott set a modern precedent for artist merchandising by moving over $800 million worth of New Kids on the Block goods in 1990 alone.
